What can I use my Medisave funds for?

The funds in your MediSave account can be used for the following outpatient services for yourself and your approved dependents under the Medisave500 scheme:

Health screening (mammogram screenings for women aged 50 and above and selected screenings for newborns)
Vaccinations for yourself under the National Adult Immunisation Schedule
Vaccinations for your child under the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule
Chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme

How much can I claim from my Medisave account?

You can claim $500 to $700 from your MediSave funds for approved vaccinations, chronic condition treatment under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), and certain health screenings. For a comprehensive list of what you can use your funds for, visit the Ministry of Health's website here.

Those who are 60 and above can also use your MediSave to pay for your spouse’s outpatient medical expenses of up to $200 a year under the Flexi-MediSave scheme.

How do I make a Medisave claim?

To use your MediSave funds for healthcare expenses at Speedoc, you’ll have to do the following:

Fill out and submit the Medical Claims Authorisation Form to us. Our Patient Care Team will guide you in filling out the fields if you require assistance.
Once the form is completed, we will handle the remaining paperwork on your behalf.
If you have previously filled out the Medical Claims Authorisation Form (Multiple Institutions), step 2 can be skipped. Simply inform the Patient Care Team that you’ve previously filled out this form and we will take care of the rest.

Can I use my Medisave funds for chronic condition treatments?

Yes! Your MediSave funds can be used for conditions listed under MOH’s Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). Examples of such conditions include diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia).

You can also use your MediSave funds for Speedoc’s Chronic Disease Home Management (CDHM)™ programme! Simply inform us that you’d like to make claims from your MediSave funds when signing up for the programme.
